Managing Director
Hi, I’m Janet, the Managing Director of Able Allied Healthcare. Since acquiring Able Kids Therapy in 2020, I’ve been on an incredible journey of growth and transformation. Recently, we opened a brand-new, purpose-built clinic and rebranded to reflect our broader vision of providing exceptional allied healthcare services.
Leadership and self-development are at the heart of everything I do. I’m passionate about building the business of my dreams while fostering a workplace where every team member feels valued, empowered, and inspired. As part of my commitment to growth, I actively participate in a business mentor program, attending quarterly conferences to continuously learn, evolve, and uncover new possibilities.
At Able Allied Healthcare, our guiding values are integrity, compassion, adaptability, collaboration, and humility. These principles drive me every day as I work to create a positive impact for both our clients and our incredible team.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to three wonderful children and three fur babies—Lola, Honey, and Bear. I also love to travel, with a personal goal of exploring a new destination every year. Whether I’m building a business, spending time with family, or discovering new places, I’m always fuelled by a passion for growth and new possibilities.

Early Intervention Educator
I’ve had extensive experience as a Special Education Teacher, Dance Movement Therapist, Developmental Movement practitioner and Wheelchair dance instructor with children and families. My background in Dance as well as an Under 5s Gymnastics has enabled me to move, play, engage and create a safe space for children and families to explore relationships, set personal goals and enable social, emotional and cognitive growth and build their confidence through a range of therapies.
During my spare time I like to: I like to dance, draw, swim, travel and go camping and explore the outdoors with my family and friends.
My favourite colour is: Watermelon Red
My favourite Disney character is: Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. Just like Tigger, I am determined full of energy, loyal and always on the move.
Jessica
Speech Pathologist
I love being a speech pathologist because I love to help people be able to express themselves and be understood, as well as support them to explore different foods. Whether that be through speaking, writing, or using a device. I love to help people learn to interact with others through play. I love working with early speech and language development as well as literacy, I have also completed training in orofacial myology to support better breathing, sleeping, speech and orofacial development. Where possible I like to use play to create learning opportunities.
During my spare time I like to: get outside and explore the world through hiking, camping, and snorkeling. I also love to create things through sewing, cooking, baking, and crocheting.
Do I have any Pets? Yes, my cat Coco who love cuddles.
My favourite colour is: I love all colours, especially blue and yellow as they are both happy and calming colours.
My favourite Disney character is: Rapunzel because she has cool magical hair and a pet chameleon.

Why do you love about being an OT?
To me occupational therapy means helping people to achieve what they want, need and love to do in their everyday lives. For children this means supporting them to build the skills so that they can thrive in their everyday environments including school, Kindy and the community.

Why do you love about being an OT?
What being an occupational therapist means to me, is supporting all people to engage in activities which are meaningful and important to them. I value client-centred practice, creativity, problem solving and collaboration and enjoy working together with children and families to support their goals.
During my spare time I like to:
- Play netball and watch sports.
- Listen to music.
- Spend time with my family and friends.
Do I have any Pets? My dog’s name is Banksy. She is a big gentle giant, very sweet and funny as well.
My favourite colour is: blue, I like blue skies most of all.
My favourite Disney character is: Simba from the Lion King and if I could have any magic power, it would have to be the power to run really fast.

Why do you love about being an OT?
I love being an OT because I can help people and work with them and their families to ensure they are living their best lives and engaging in activities they love! I have a keen interest in how to help children with toileting and have finished further study on feeding and sensory interventions.
During my spare time I like to: I enjoy going for walks and spending time with family, friends and my dog!

I’m the friendly face you’ll see when you arrive at our main clinic in Wills Street. I’m responsible for the day-to-day running of our clinic’s and here to assist with any inquiries regarding appointments, cancelling or changing appointments, NDIS service agreements, account enquiries, billing and payment options. I’ll be your liaison between you and your therapist.
During my spare time I like to: Enjoy the great outdoors by hiking and bike riding.
