What do you love about being a Speech Pathologist?
I love being a speech pathologist because I love to help people be able to express themselves and be understood, as well as support them to explore different foods. Whether that be through speaking, writing, or using a device. I love to help people learn to interact with others through play. I love working with early speech and language development as well as literacy, I have also completed training in orofacial myology to support better breathing, sleeping, speech and orofacial development. Where possible I like to use play to create learning opportunities.
A little more about me
During my spare time I like to: get outside and explore the world through hiking, camping, and snorkeling. I also love relaxing through sewing, cooking, baking, and crocheting.
Do I have any Pets? Yes, my cat Pepper who loves pats.
My favourite colour is: I love all colours, especially blue and yellow as they are both happy and calming colours.
My favourite Disney character is: Rapunzel because she has cool magical hair and a pet chameleon.
