Being an Allied Health Assistant while studying Speech Pathology at university allows me to apply everything I’ve learnt so far in a real-world context. I came into the field wanting to work with children and ever since I did my placement in 2nd year with children, I knew I wanted to get more hands-on experience. I love that I can work with and receive support from the amazing therapists and use their guidance and my knowledge to give clients the best support possible, while creating meaningful connections in the process. Every child deserves a voice, and I am passionate about empowering children to find theirs through speech and/or language.

During my spare time I like to: Read books, watch tv/movies and play video games!
Do I have any Pets? Yes, I have one very cute cat.
My favourite colour is: Green (yellow and pink are a close second).
My favourite Cartoon character is: Totoro from a movie called My Neighbour Totoro.
